Who is Jesus, Really? A 7-Part Journey to Meeting the Master: Part 1

You may have heard of Him.
You may have been taught about Him.
You may have even sung about Him at Christmas or Easter.

But knowing about Jesus is not the same as knowing Him.

For many women, Christianity has been handed down in fragments, a verse here, a sermon there, maybe even a painful encounter with a church that seemed more interested in control than compassion. And yet, maybe a bit like me - deep down inside you, something whispers: What if I’ve never actually met the real Jesus?

Let me give you 7 days based on some of my studies and revelations that can change how you see Him forever. I'm not here to give you clichés. I want you to meet Jesus as He really is; more like a Eastern Master whose words still rearrange the human heart, the only Teacher whose free gift is grace, and the only God who calls women into a destiny equal in value and dignity to men.

“Who Do You Say I Am?”

The Question That Finds You

Before the miracles. Before the Cross. Before the world knew His name.
Jesus looked at His closest friends and asked:
“Who do you say I am?”

Scripture Meditation

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” — Matthew 16:15
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me.’” — Genesis 16:13

Reflection: When the Question Looks You in the Eye
You may have heard of Him.
You may have sung the songs, read the verses, sat in the pew.
But knowing about Jesus is not the same as knowing Him.

This question: Who do you say I am? is about intimacy. It’s about whether His voice has cut through the noise of your life and called you by name.

Hagar knew this. Her story is in the Old Testament. Alone, cast off, and near death, she met the Living God in the desert and named Him: El-Roi, the God Who Sees Me.

When you answer Jesus’ question, you’re not just describing Him; you’re discovering you. Because to know Him is to be known. To see Him is to be seen.

Try this: Find a quiet space and say out loud, slowly: “Jesus, You are…” — and fill in the blank with what’s real for you right now.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It has to be honest.

Blessed is the one who answers Him with truth, not performance. She is seen. She is called. She is already walking the first steps of discipleship; close enough to hear His question and brave enough to answer.
